Each one of the records contains information of the fish species in question, information on its different denominations, both national and international, and its corresponding minimum sizes of catch and consumption.

If you want to query a concrete species you can use the search engine by writing the name of the species or pressing on the upper initials to search all of the species that start with a specific letter.

If you choose a group, a list with the different orders for that group will be provieded, and afterwards, a list of the families. Then, a list of the species of that category in mercapesca.net database will be provided.

You can also query the list of minimum sizes according to species, dictated by the Royal Decree 560/1995, where the minimum sizes of catch and consumption are established of the different fish species. You will be able to access this list by clicking on the right tap at the top of the page.
